I read Kathy’s reflection in Give Us This Day, December 3, 2025, The first line “my parents had a dining room table that, when stretched to full capacity seated 18 people.” The reason this caught my attention was because Patt‘s family had a table that extended as well. They brought it back from Germany< where her Dad was stationed in the Army. They had it in their house until the house was sold. It now is in Patt‘s daughter and son-in-law’s house. It was used this Christmas for the family gathering. I’ve included a picture of it from Patt’s parents’ house. Thank you.
